Fading into Fall

There is a new twist to today's autumn colors. It's what Lola and Sophie like to call "Color Fading."

Lola - To be fashionably correct, the invention of "Ombre" is a  chic designer technique that easily blends shades of this season's dominating dark reds, browns, greys, and blacks to create original looks. Take our favorite sister store, Gender Bias. As seen below (Fall 2012 Campaign), they easily manipulate a solid colored blouse into a dynamic multipurpose item of clothing by utilizing color (navy) without being overpowering.

Another one of our favorites,  Rag and Bone clothing is stylishly revamping their jeans with a white winter fade. Shirts to leggings, this is a fun new generation of ombre that's vibrant, young, and
 trendy!

Sophie - Get in on the Color-Fading action and don't forget about your accessory collection. Wearing a wedge with black, brown and white ombre, lends itself to endless outfit concoctions and a universal modern chic look without trying. Take a look at one of our favorite brands, Camilla Skovgaard and her creative approach to playing with this fall obsession. She even amped up her ombre volume by added texture with the outer shoe material transitioning from suede to patent leather.

Lola - Ombre is also trending on the beauty seen. Seductive and noteworthy, Rachel Bilson and Jessica Biel are currently adorning Ombre hairstyles.

Sophie - Test it out on your nails too. The more Ombre the better! Check out BLACK nail polish for complete sets and nail tutorials.

From day to night in endless shades..."Fading into Fall" is Lola and Sophie approved!
